About Us
What makes us special?
As an independent boutique brokerage, our focus is you. We're not concerned with the minutia that comes with a big box brokerage. Our priority isn't hundreds of agents and a big name. It isn't a big, fancy office. It isn't filling your social media feed with endless posts that aren't relevant to you. It's real estate... down and dirty. Everything we do is about providing value to you. That means focusing on what matters to you, not us. From honest and straightforward representation when selling or buying, to referrals, to everything related to real estate and home ownership, even extending to things like property tax assessment evaluations, we're ready to put our experience and knowledge to work for you. With over 62 combined years of full-time real estate experience, our focus is on education and knowing how to protect you and what is likely your largest single investment.
Less is More - The 80/20 Rule
Did you know that 20% of licensed brokers conduct 80% of the business? That's why brokerage size doesn't matter. Less is more. We are unique in that we don't recruit just to fill a roster. We are full time, licensed brokers, with a focus on education, training and really knowing our stuff. If you're looking for a door-opener, we're not it. If you're looking for a bare bones buying or selling experience, we're also not it. We are the 20%... and proud of it!
About Rachael Real
Designated Managing Broker & REALTOR®, Rachael Real, has been a full-time licensed real estate broker since April 2015. With a focus on the western suburbs of Chicago, Rachael puts years of experience, knowledge and connections to work for you, whether you are buying or selling a home. Rachael believes in raising the bar and providing an exceptional experience to all of her clients. To that end, Rachael has received several designations over the years including Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE), Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource (SFR), Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), as well as attended hands-on workshops on staging and preparing a home for the market.
Rachael has served as a member of the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® Professional Standards Committee since 2015, and is a three-time past Chairperson. This Committee hears ethics complaints made against other REALTOR® members. The function of the hearing panel is to conduct a full due process hearing with sworn testimony, witnesses and evidence. After conducting the hearing, the hearing panel decides whether there was a violation of the Code of Ethics, then determines the sanctions.
Rachael is also a member of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), the Illinois Association of REALTORS® (IAR), Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® (More), and Midwest Real Estate Data LLC (MRED).
Rachael was born and raised in Elmhurst, graduating from York High School. At 19, Rachael purchased her first home in Glendale Heights. She also resided in Bolingbrook and Villa Park before putting down roots in Lombard in 2003. Rachael is married (to a guy with the best last name for real estate) and has two grown sons. Rachael also has a ridiculous love of dogs and relishes in the company of her rescue dogs. Rachael will never be without a furry friend and is currently fostering "tinies" for Tiny N Tall Rescue. Rachael enjoys all aspects of real estate, especially renovations. Rachael has renovated several properties over the years and has a keen eye for function, always looking to remove a wall... or 3. Rachael has worked alongside homeowners who require anything from cleaning & a quick coat of paint to removing walls and making spaces more functional so they appeal to the largest buyer pool possible.
While data has never been more readily available to those in the market to buy or sell a home, interpreting and navigating the data has never been more important. This is what Rachael does. Rachael will guide you through the process from preparation to closing, while keeping your best interests at the forefront and making the buying or selling experience as smooth as possible. While the process looks a bit different for buyers and sellers, rest assured that Rachael has you covered from all sides.
